Mr. Alfano graduated from Seton Hall University Law School in 1982. He became admitted to the New Jersey State Bar and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. He served as Assistant Bergen County Prosecutor from 1983 thru 1985 and prosecuted over a 1,000 instances starting from homicides, critical drug and sex offenses to juvenile matters, Municipal Appeals, Krol Hearings, Gun Revocation Hearings and Expungements. Former Prosecutor Since leaving the Bergen County Prosecutors Office in 1985 Mr. Alfano has practiced law completely in the subject of criminal protection representing people in excessive profile homicide, sexual attack, armed robbery and foremost drug distribution instances. He represented a Ringwood Councilman for mis-appropriation and fraud and represented a excessive stage defendant within the Federal Probe into the West New York Police Department. Both of those cases have been quite publicized all through the State of New Jersey. Mr. Alfano also served as Municipal Prosecutor for the Township of Lyndhurst and the Borough of Wood-Ridge wherein he prosecuted, among other matters, loads of DWI and Motor Vehicle topics. He also served as Public Defender for the Township of Lyndhurst, the Borough of Rutherford and currently serves as Public Defender inside the Township of West Orange.
