About
Andrew Criado is a former Virginia prosecutor, who is now a Senior Criminal Defense Lawyer and Partner of Robinson Law, PLLC s Estate Planning Division.
He represents customers at some stage in Northern Virginia on quite a few criminal and site visitors fees. Andrew joined Robinson Law after serving for ten years as a prosecutor within the Alexandria Commonwealth’s Lawyer’s Office, in which he become a Senior Assistant Commonwealth’s Lawyer and headed the workplace’s White Collar/Fraud Unit.
Mr. Criado began his career as Alexandria’s visitors prosecutor, gaining expertise in DUI regulation. He completed the Advanced DUI Training application in Williamsburg, VA and the Prosecutor Bootcamp on the National Advocacy Center in Columbia, SC.
From Virginia trial court docket to the U.S. Supreme Court, Andrew has fought tirelessly for his customers. He secured a denial of certiorari at the U.S. Supreme Court in Tyree v. Virginia, wherein he wrote the Commonwealth’s short in competition. And he persuaded the Virginia Court of Appeals to provide a pretrial appeal in Commonwealth v. Lemus, a criminal DUI case wherein the circuit court docket had suppressed proof. Agreeing with Andrew’s arguments, the Court of Appeals later reversed the circuit court.
Andrew’s criminal regulation revel in runs the gamut of person and juvenile crimes from DUI, reckless using, and larceny to financial exploitation, toddler abuse, malicious wounding, robbery, and homicide. From his decade-long experience as a prosecutor, Andrew knows the way to respond to investigations, answer criminal expenses, and stand sturdy within the courtroom. He has attempted over 30 jury trials and masses of bench trials. Andrew has received a reputation as a trusted adviser, a keen felony mind, and a skilled court litigator.
