I became born and raised in Northern Virginia. After graduating from the University of Virginia in 2003, I worked as a enterprise anaylst at a developer of information control and analysis systems for two years. I then moved to New Orleans a week before Katrina to attend law school. After being forced to return domestic for numerous months, I again to New Orleans to finish my legal studies. I graduated from Tulane University School of Law in 2008 with honors. I commenced my profession with a 2-yr clerkship for the Hon. Fredericka Homberg Wicker within the Louisiana Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. I then worked for a yr as a staff lawyer on the Fifth Circuit.
